Prior to the release of The Life of a Showgirl, I didn't consider myself a Swiftie. I just haven't really vibed with any of the recent albums and I didn't get all the lore, easter eggs, etc. BUT I am loving TLOAS. I am all about the fun bops that I can dance around my kitchen to. With the release of the album, my algorithm has been 80% Swiftie discourse. It has been so fun to learn about all the easter eggs and connections to other things she's done. I think this album has me converted to a full blown Swiftie.
Over the last few days, I've seen content on praise, critiques, and fan theories about the album. Her influence and ability to get everyone talking is fascinating. Of course, I had to pull up her chart and analyze her design. Her exact birth time hasn't been confirmed but 5:17 AM and 8:36 AM have both been recorded in different biographies. It seems like 5:17 AM is the most used time so that's what I'll use for this post. 5 + 1 + 7 adds up to 13 so it feels right to use that one. In both times, she is a 5/1 Projector with Splenic Authority with her Heart/Ego, Spleen, and Root centers defined. Disclaimer: since we don't have a confirmed, exact birth time, this chart could be wrong. I think there's a lot of evidence that this is her design but there's always the chance that her chart is different.

Taylor has been known to use Astrology so I am dying to know if she knows her Human Design. I bet she does! Let's dive into her chart!
Projector
I absolutely LOVE that one of the most successful women of our generation is a Projector. She is living proof that an aligned Projector can achieve great success. As a Splenic Projector myself, her career is inspiring and motivating. When she is in her flow state, she has a ton of energy but as a non-Sacral type, that energy is still limited. It makes sense that she is very selective about the press, events, etc. that she does. Although she loves what she does, she doesn't have regenerating energy for it the way Generators do.
Projectors have a special ability to master systems. Taylor has mastered the system of being a pop star. She clearly understands how to play the game of the music industry to maximize her success. That mastery also goes to music in general - she has the ability to create hits across different genres, emotions, vibes, etc.
The intricate web of easter eggs that she has weaved can also be considered a system. Projectors thrive off of recognition - I don't think that she would do as much with that if her fans didn't love the egg hunt. She has said in interviews that once fans started finding the eggs it made her want to do it more.
When I shared on TikTok that I was working on this blog post, I got push back from a Swiftie who stated that there was no way Taylor could be a Projector because no Projector could do the Eras tour. We don't have a confirmed birth time, so who knows, maybe she isn't a Projector. But I don't subscribe to the idea that Projectors can't do hard things. Human Design isn't about what you can/can't do, it's about how to work with your energetic blueprint to achieve your goals in the most aligned way. Every type has the ability to thrive while on a grueling world tour schedule, especially if they understand how to work with their unique energy. Generator music stars have more consistent energy so they can do press, fan events, interviews, etc. while on tour. As a Projector, Taylor has to be more protective of her energy and just focus on the shows and taking care of herself. In interviews she's shared a lot about her self care while on tour and how she recovers after. She understands how to work with and maximize her limited energy to thrive during big tours. Manifestors and Reflectors could also do something like the Eras tour if they are supporting their designs.

5th Line Profile - The Heretic
Everything Taylor Swift does is polarizing which we can connect to her 5th line profile. Every 5th line profile is living in a projection field put on to them by others. She will never fulfill all of the different projections on her so there will always be a group of people who aren't happy about whatever she is doing. The 5th line archetype is the savior or problem-solver. People look to 5th lines to save them, whether or not they are the right person for the job. I can see this a lot with the album release. The fans who are criticizing the album are saying that it's cringe, lacking depth/lyricism, and not emotional enough. The rebuttal to the criticism has been "if you're not miserable, you're not going to get the album". The fans who's projections were fulfilled were happy about the album and those who were hoping to be "saved" by her emotionally intense and deep music weren't happy. Just let the girl have fun and soak in being in LOVE!
Taylor Swift also receives criticism that she doesn't do enough with her fame or money for activism. She wrote a song about being happy and in love so she gets called a MAGA trad wife. She mentions the onyx night which people are saying is racist. It doesn't matter what she does, there will always be a group of people that are offended and pissed off.
Taylor seems to have a good attitude about it and understands that the projections aren't her. In an interview she says "I welcome the chaos. The rule of show business is: if it's the first week of my album release and you are saying either my name or my album title, you're helping." The more people are talking, the more money she makes. Let 'em talk!
1st Line - The Investigator
In an interview with Seth Meyers, Taylor says "When I have a hobby it becomes an obsession then it becomes my entire personality." 1st lines tend to hyper-fixate because when they are inspired to learn, they need to go deep and learn everything there is to know about the subject.
1st lines are also known to be perfectionists. Taylor's process when creating an album is very 1st line - she perfectly curates every lyric, track list, photo, branding, etc. to bring her vision for the album to life. She doesn't share the process until the finished product is out in the world.
I think her extensive easter egg system could also be connected to her first line. The meticulous and thorough planning to be able to plant eggs that nod to events years in the future.
Undefined G/Identity Center
I think we can connect Taylor Swift's many distinct eras to her undefined G/Identity center. With her identity being undefined, she does not have one consistent identity. Her identity flows and changes as her environment changes. She is in love and excited about her future with Travis Kelce so this album reflects that. Her last few albums have been deep and super artistic, which I think TLOASG critics expected her to continue with forever. She's had more fun and poppy albums in the past so of course she would return to this style when her environment supported it. I'm sure we'll see more deep eras again in the future. The one thing we can expect, is that her identity will always be changing.
Splenic Authority
Taylor's sudden album drops and big announcements that seem like they come out of nowhere is very splenic. People with Splenic authority have in-the-moment intuitive hits/nudges to put them on the right path. The Spleen is also the center of survival. Feeling safe and secure is clearly very important to Taylor. She keeps her inner circle small with people she can trust and she takes extreme precautions to ensure her work doesn't get leaked before she's ready for it to be out in the world. I'm curious to hear from the veteran Swifties - are there examples of Taylor talking about following her intuition?
I had so much fun putting all of this together. What celebrity should I do next? Let me know in the comments!
